I was a victim of Hurricane Sandy and the manager from this dealership told me to come in and they would replace my 2011 Jetta with a 2013 with no money down and the same montly payment and also they would pay my $1000 deductible.
Now, a few months later the Credit company keeps harassing me for the deductible because they never paid it. Ive called several times to the dealership and was told "they will look into it" with no call backs at all. Finally today I called again and the manager told me that I misunderstood and that the money they were giving for the deductible was used towards the downpayment and not actually paid to the credit company.
I was completely duped and misled because the same car I leased a year before did'nt require $2000 down and not only that, I had to put $1000 into this lease for tax, title and fee.
There was no 'deal' here for the hurricane sandy victims... It was a scam... Dont go to koppel volkswagen in woodside, all they do is lie
