The Elite Planning Group called me on June 4 to inform me that they could reduce my credit card percentage rate by half. They explained that once they reduced my credit card percentage rate by half, there would be a one time charge of $998.00 charged to my credit card.
They asked for my credit card with the largest outstanding balance and I gave them my Citicard and the number of the card plus expiration date. I was put on hold and switched to another representative who informed me that they could save me $2,500 to $2,700.00 with a one time charge of $998.00.
I agreed and immediatedly called Citicard. They informed me that there was a $998.00 charge pending. I asked them to remove this charge and they said they couldn't do this at this time. I was to call the Elite Planning Company back and inform them that I did not want their services and to credit the $998.00 back to my credit card.
I immediatedly called the Elite Planning co. Back and they informed me that they could not refund the money back because they had a verbal contract. I was to call back the next day to see what they could do for me; when I called them back they said they would refund me half of their charge and they would keep half.
I informed them that I wanted all of my money back because they have done nothing for me and that their sales pitch was very misleading.
I would appreciate it if you could help me get all of my money back.
