I downloaded WinZip in a hurry, and didn't realize I hadn't unchecked the box that added the AVG toolbar with the download.in the process, it changed all of my default settings for my homepage and search features and I had to manually go into my settings to set it all right again. Even after doing all of that, it still shows up as my home page when I initially open a browser window, even though the default is set to something else. I'm having to dig into my computer to try to figure out why it's still coming up.
This seems like a minor complaint, but I always thought of AVG as a stand-up company before now. I've used their products before and never had a complaint. Attaching their toolbar and search engine as a default download to another program is sneaky and under-handed and feels like I've been fed a virus... When they sell a product that is supposed to get rid of viruses. I won't be buying their products again.
