I paid 1,669 dollars for a 30,000 mile extended warranty on a used 2004 subaru. The car has had transmission and electrical breakdowns that have for one loophole reason or another not been covered. And now the engine in the car has "locked up" according to the mechanic and Alpha will not cover the engine, saying that there was some kind of user error without any evidence of that other than assumption. The Mechanic said that the reason for the engine failure is unknown. But but appeal still went begging! I'm out 7,000 for the engine and 1,669 for the warranty
