Terrible Customer - RUDE

I am a new customer to Direct TV. Making the change was not my choice - our apartment complex decided to go with a bulk account. There was a problem with my bill and the service was disconnected. The bill has been paid and the company who administers the account provided me with a confirmation number and assured me the service would be restored today. It has not been restored an any attempts to work through what Direct TV laughingly calls "customer service" has been futile. I was told I haven't paid my bill - the adminstrator of the service and my bank account both show otherwise. Everyone I spoke with at Direct TV has been rude and condescending. When I was finally connected to a manager, there was no attempt made to resolve the issue. I was told I should pay Direct TV, even though another company actually bills me. Why would I send money to a compan that doesn't send me a bill? Direct TV claims they have no way to verify a payment because "we don't do things that way". The manager I spoke to told me that he would pass it along and put a note in my file. When I asked how that would help, he repeated what he would do. I told him that sounded like he was just pushing the complaint aside and wasn't going to do anything to attempt to resolve the issue. He as much as admitted that was right. I have never been treated so rudely by a group that professes to be a customer service group.
