Interesting how there is nothing here but plenty all over the internet on other sights about your company's questionable practices and charges. I suspect this will be censored as well.
Interesting you lecture your posters with "Don't forget that you are accountable for your words". Hummm, sounds like a threat to me, also sounds like you are very familiar with angry customers too. You sure have a lot of rules for posting a complaint. Do you have any for yourselves?
I am posting to complain about your so-called 'reasonable and customary charges' which I find to be very 'unreasonable' and 'uncustomary'.
Example, CareNow (Garland) charged $220 for a routine office visit for a patient (my family member) with no insurance, self-pay. Did this patient have an unusual illness? A terrible injury? No, bronchitis, needed an antibiotic. Pretty routine.
At a similar clinic in Irving this charge would have been $90. This is their 'stated fee' for an office visit, same circumstances, self-pay.
When people are struggling to make ends meet-why do you feel the need to overcharge and penalize people. This way of doing business is not very smart, compassionate or CARING, in fact, people don't like to be taken advantage of and word does get around. As you lecture your customers, 'Don't forget that YOU are accountable for your words', and YOUR actions I might add. You might take that to heart yourself, CareNow!
Many others, I have read on the internet, have had similar experiences with CareNow, being overly charged outrageous fees when they had no insurance. Very sad.
I will advise my friends and family who find themselves in this situation to call on other clinics who will treat them fairly, and who really DO CARE as evidenced by their upfront charges and fees.
Shame on you for making it more difficult on families who do not have health insurance. We reap what we sow-I imagine there is a very greedy and not very wise person at the helm of your organization.
