I bought a pair of shoes from Sears and they cost close to 60 bucks. So when I was purchasing the shoes this lady said you get a free 10 award card. The shoes were not what I was looking for so I went to return them. When I was returning this item. They were refunding me 10 dollars less then I bought the shoes. I asked them why and they go since you got a gift card. I was like I didnt ask for it the lady gave it to me as gift. Then I said then take the gift card back and they refused to take the gift card back. They all were very rude and ganged up on me saying that it cant be returned. I told them I am not leaving till I get my money back. I want the money I paid for back the exact amount and they refused. I told them I am not leaving till I get my money back. I told them I was a regular customer for years and I wanted to speak to a senior manager. I told what happened to the manager and the manager refunded the gift card and then the remaining balance. My issue is that at a company like sears this kind incident shouldn't happen. This was very frustrating and upsetting.
