I sold a camera and other related equipment listing it as "New, Other" following all the terms and guidelines of eBay. The advertisement clearly indicated the condition in large bold print. I provided my own terms to the buyer which in part was an RMA for returns and 3 day notice prior returning in a 3 day window. This particular buyer has over 800* vs. My 47*. The buyer never answered 3 courtesy emails sent to him after he received the equipment over a 7 day period.instead he voiced a complaint about packaging an being a used camera! His first reply/complaint email stated he knew how to get his money back with eBay and would continue to use/test the camera. The following email confirmed his acceptance of the condition. When he tried to get $20 more, for the packaging complaint, a month later, I refused due to his fraudulent actions and time passed. He then filed a claim with eBay that the equipment was not new and grossly different than advertised. He has now used, or abused, the equipment for over 30 days, and tried to get funds long after the buyer-seller transaction window. All this, as I clearly thought, were not eBay policies. EBay immediately sided with him and ignored my plea and supportive documentation via emails! They froze my PayPal account and eBay is expecting a full refund draining my PayPal balance unjustly.
