My son sold his digital camera thru Ebay on the 29th October for £1,600.00 The sale proceeds appeared on my son's paypal a/c on the 29/10. So my son gave which he thought was the buyer his address to pick up camera. The camera was picked up later on 29th by a young lady. Some hours after the pick-up the buyer reported to Ebay that his a/c had been hacked into and that the payment of £1,600.00 thru pay-pal was not authorized by him. Pay-pal immediately froze this payment and refunded this amount back to the buyer on 31/10. Now my son has no camera and no money from this sale. We hold Ebay responsible for my son's loss because their safe website had been successfully infiltrated by criminals. We have asked Ebay on several occasions for compensation, but they have refused. We now want to make an official complaint against Ebay
