I read an article in a British newspaper raving about this anti-wrinkel cream and serum used by a British housewife and showed before and after pics. She stated that she had only had to pay for the postage & package of £2.95 per item, this was a free trial and the product was so effective that it would sell itself in the long run, from people re-ordering it. There was no mention of a subscription or 14day return policy. When the product arrived there was no paperwork advising of the 14day return or any cancellation of the subscription! Then, about 3 weeks later the sum of £79.99 and £75.99 were debited from my MasterCard. I immediately emailed the scammers and demanded my money back when they emailed me to say that by ordering the free trial I had subscribed to their scam.
I have complained to my bank who advise me there is nothing I can do, so can somebody advise me what action can be taken against this con?
