Answered a phone call from a telemarketer re accomadation vouchers. Firstly they stated they would send Australian consumer law agreement. The envelope arrived, but had nothing inside, I emailed the company and they basically called me a liar, no replacement agreement was sent, hence I had no cooling off period. Tried to contact Hotel bargains via phone, but the line was continually engaged. Booked accomadation via their website, the accomadation booked through them was a total of $833.00, if booked directly with hotel the total price was $770.00. Finally got through to Hotel Bargains and asked a very rude operator why the price difference, and what the vouchers were for! She hung up in my ear. This is the most dishonest and misleading scam and people should be warned. You get basically nothing for your money, only 2 for 1 food vouchers.
