I received Telemarketer called Sept offering discounted hotel Vouchers with 2 nights for 1 night price, free accomodation just pay for the meal at the hotel's restaurant, etc... I paid A$350 for the vouchers. I received the voucher after 2 weeks and did not need the vouchers until Oct. I realised the hotels under this company was more expensive than booking through internet like booking.com, wotif.com, etc. And on top of that need to pay for the booking fee and only on request no guarantee.

So I rang the company and no answer so I left a few messages on the answering machine. I never received any phone calls back. After a few weeks of calling the company, eventually someone answer and I complaints and asked for my money back. A gentle said the manager will call me back. No one call me back. Anyway, after a few months I sent email to the company and complaint and the Manager reply that they would not refund my money as the 10 days cooling off period is over. I told the manager I haven't use the vouchers yet as it is useless and I have been trying to contact them for months. She said she would not refund the money, basically bad luck. What a scam!!!
I lost $350!!!
