It has been 7 hours since someone would be out to turn on our gas. Still no one is here.
It all started when they installed some new meter reader that would make their job easier. Well they installed it wrong and it would leak. We noticed a faint odor of gas and called Duke to some out and fix the leak. They said they would be out in an hour. Two hours later we could no longer wait for the person to come and fix the problem they caused, and had to leave the residence. When we arrived home, the worker had fixed the leak but could no turn the gas on until a resident was home. We called at 2:30 to tell them to turn the gas on and it is 8:15 and still no one is here. We were not able to cook dinner or take a shower.
This whole mess was because of Duke. They are incompetent and lazy. They have a monopoly on their service and care less about their customers. I am 100% dissatisfied with Duke as a company.
