Alagasco cut my gas off today. When i got home from work i paid it (approximately 3pm) plus the reconnect fee which was more than my 2 month bill. But i was told they could not come out today to turn it back on even though there was plenty of time before close of business. And it was friday so i will have no hot water or heat until monday. If for some reason i miss the gas company employee then they would not come back monday either it would be the next available business day. Because they are the only gas company around they dont care about customer satisfaction. Something needs to be done about this. I realize i am at fault for it being cut off for not paying on time but the 2nd month bill due date was today and it was cut off before 3pm. I am having my entire house converted to electric maybe if alagasco loses enough customers they will start caring whether there customers have heat and hot water especially those with innocent children or the elderly.
