In March, I took delivery of furniture from The DUMP. They arrived late in the evening (after dark) to deliver the 6 piece set.in the daylight the next day and upon using some of the drawers and pieces, Over 18 defects in the workmanship and two seriously defective pieces were noticed. I called that very day and was treated terrible by the customer service department. AFter two weeks, I wsa finally begging and pleading for a return or replacement of the pieces which two pieces were completely non functional. Finally, after filing a BB bureau claim, I got a response and they sent a technician out who spent 4 hours fixing the blemishes and serious defects in the drawers, the bed frame, the mirror. He wrote a report and determined that a new mirror and Chest of drawers was in order because those two pieces were so defective that they needed to be replaced. 6 Weeks later, they arrived with the wrong dresser. 5 weeks after that they arrived with a Chest that was damaged and defective worse than the piece I currently had. Now, I've almost paid the bill entirely (financed it) and they will not replace the last piece. I've now filed a second BB claim and am waiting to hear. I have had so many phone calls, discussions, frustrations, and have never been treated so poorly. Does anyone know what agency can help me. I truly have been baited and switched. I bought and paid for perfectly new furniture and they shipped me junk.
