Chase bought my loan a ltille over a year ago. They have been horrible to deal with and very dishonest. About three months into them buying my loan I called the collections department and told them that I was having trouble making that months payment and asked for thier advise, I even offered to make the portion of my payment for the loan and not the escrow amount and that the following month I could catch up the escrow. This was not a option. The agent asked me several questions and then said I quailified for a re-payment plan for the one month I was getting ready to be behind on. I would have found a way to make it if I would have known what they were about to do to me. I was reported late for 5 months on my credit report while I was in repayment making my payments on time. When I called them they refused to take this off my credit report. I even sent them letters and all I got back was forclosure letters and I was making my payments on time. They ruiened every opertunity for me to get rid of them and refinance somewhere else. I now have to wait a year and I have been trying so hard to repair my credit that they ruiened by reporting me late for so many months. If I would not have checked it when I did, I would have been reported late for 12 months during the repayment plan.
