We went to Key West and took a Parasailing ride for two on 7/23. We purchased the "picture package" for $35 cash. We we arrived home we had no pictures we were sold an empty CD. I called the store and was instructed to send the Cd back to them so that they could "find" the pictures that were on the CD. I sent the CD back on or around 8/5. I heard nothing from them until I contacted them on 8/15. At that time I was told that they had mailed a refund on 8/12. No refund and no pictures.
I realize that 35 is not a lot of money however I am a singel working parent and we splured on the trip and the parasailing, not to mention the tip that these people begged for on the trip. Now I have no pictures, and am out $35 plus shipping to send them their empty CD back. I don't even have the CD to show for it. I was wondering if they did this scam to every tourist that takes the parasailing ride how much they would make in a week.
