WARRENTY COVERAGE ISSUES - HP Laptop with Intel Processo

When I purchased my laptop in 2009 I also paid an extensive amount of money for the black tie 2 year warranty. When speaking with the sales person at the Best Buy I specifically asked if the warranty covered accidents such as dropping the laptop or other minor incidents. With his response of "Yes" I proceeded to purchase the laptop and the recommended insurance. Up to this point I have had some minor issues with the laptop and the power cords but yesterday I happened to drop the laptop and to my shock and horror per the employee at Best Buy I am not covered. To have two minor things fixed it will cost me upwards of $400. When considering that I paid $499.99 for the lap top and an additional charge of $129.99 for the "best insurance". I feel that it is ridiculous and unacceptable to lead a consumer to believe that the insurance that they purchased will cover the possible situations that you asked them about and then find out that you are not covered. This type of poor customer service is unacceptable to me as a consumer. Then for the person that I spoke to today to recommend getting a credit card to pay for these repairs is ridiculous and rude. After years of purchasing all of my computer and other electronics from Best Buy I was saddened and disappointed to the point that I will chose to never purchase from there again.
