When I purchased my laptop I purchased the extended warranty. Recently the screen broke and I called the 1 800 number. I was told that my laptop was covered under the extended purchase warranty and to bring it into a Best Buy store. Whn I arrived at the Best Buiy store located in ST. Oeters, MO., it was again confirmed that a replacement screen was covered under the warranty. Two weeks later when I returned to pick-up the laptop I was told that the repair to to repair the screen exceeded the value of the computer. And by the way your laptop is not covered under the extended warranty. Bottom line I will NEVER ever do business at Best Buy again and I will spread my story wherever I can!
