I originally scheduled service on my dryer because the display was blinking "pf". According to the user manual, pf would indicate a power failure. The 1st repair man came, ordered a part, and left. The same tech returned installed the part, it didn't solve the problem and he ordered another part. The second tech came, installed the part. It didn't work. He ordered another part. Before it came, my husband took the back off the dryer and tightened a loose wire. The dryer was now working. I refused the part and cancelled the "service" call. During this experience I wrote checks for 193.77 and 206.92 for a total of 400.69. I have explained my case to three different "customer solutions" people, who send the info to the "research department". I have been put on hold for them to review notes twice and after all of this they continue to deny my claim for anything but the approximately 60.00 for the third part that I refused. I have neither of the parts that I paid for, nothing to show for their "service" and 5 weeks of laundromat useage, when the experts didn't even look at the back of the dryer. The first date the tech came to my home was 8-19. I am still waiting for a resolution. I'm sorry that I purchased a house full of appliances less than four years ago. I have a problem with my range, but would rather throw it away than ever deal with Sears again.
