Geek squad concerned customer review - Appliance Repai

My complaint is about my dryer repair. When i called in about my dryer not working properly they checked in thier records i had the same problem with my dryer a year ago so they went ahead and ordered the parts that were use on the repair for last year so that with the tech comes they will have parts ready in case that was the same problem i was having. So the parts were ordered and i had to wait a week to make sure the parts were in so they made my appt for a week later on march 5th. That day came and so did the tech and by checking my dryer it seemed that i had alot of normal wear and tear from the age of my dryer so instead of using the parts they had they were going to change out the whole drum of my dryer meaning they would have to order my part and they would be back a week later on march 11th to install it. I was off that day agian to get a phone call letting me know that my part was recieved by some other tech at the ups dept but that tech called in sick that friday. So my tech informed me he couldnt come to repair my dryer since some other tech picked up the part and didnt come to work that day. Well he scheluded me for march 15th. March 15th came by and that morning the tech informed me he was still trying to locate my part for me. And he would call me later. I got a call later saying that the part cant be found and it would have to be reordered and my repair on my dryer cancelled till march 22nd. I asked why couldnt they find out what tech picked it up since i would think when retrieving a part you would sign for it. They couldnt answer that and said they were sorry and i would just have to wait and start all over agian by them reordering it and coming back on march 22nd. I called the office asking them questions and i was told they had no more info then what i got from the tech so what is a consumer to do if you cant get any help from the customer dept either. Meanwhile my warranty expires this year in a couple of months. I ask them if i will get a reminder or a phone call in which they said niether. I asked why they said they have to many customers to keep track of that. All i know is my next big purchase of an appliance or such i will deal with another company. For example sears in the past i used them and they came out for a yearly check up to check your product to see if something going wrong before it happens so that this type of situation doesnt happen. And other thing they take time to notify you if your warranty is up to renew it if you like or not. I guess geeksquad doesnt care much about thier customers.
