Brought my solitare diamond setting into the store. I picked out a new setting. The employee then called my 1.2 round diamond "common". Unfortunatly The Shane Co had the setting that I wanted. They took my ring to a room and 30 minutes later came out with the diamond out of the setting and stated they could not re set because my diamondt had a chip in it. I was very upset, the manager came over and said that they would set it. I should have insisted that they give me the new setting for free. I was way too nice. When I look at my ring I just have bad memories. My diamond did not have a chip in it. The girls that took it back to the room to remove diamond chipped it when they pried the prongs open. I am still so upset.
