Lost Diamond Replaced for Free - Engagement Ring

My fiance bought my engagement ring from Shane Company. We have had a long engagement - nearly two years - and have just set the date for early next year. About a month ago I was out of town and looked at my ring and, to my surprise, the diamond was missing. I searched everywhere for it but could not find it. After closer inspection I realized that one of the prongs had broken. Tearfully I told my fiance what had happened. Since Shane Company closed in Orlando (where the ring was purchased), we called the and a representative told us to mail what was left of the ring to them and they would determine if they were liable. We were not too optimistic. We mailed the ring to them and to our surprise Shane Company replaced the diamond and fixed the prongs.in fact, they even gave us a slightly better diamond and paid for all shipping costs. I have never had better customer service. I am glad my fiance bought from the Shane Company.
