We attended a semi-pro baseball game in Sacramento, Ca. One evening, and planned on eating our dinner at the ball park. Due to my strict health guidelines, I searched ahead of time to find a somewhat healthy place to eat. I was happy to find out that there was a Subway "stand" inside the park. I didn't mind paying any extra for a meal because that is typical at sports events in general. My mom and I ordered a turkey footlong with everything, 1 water, and 1 chips, which came to $15.86. We were so disappointed—the whole sandwich had 3 pieces of turkey across it, and the condiments were scarce. As a former employee for a few years back in 1995, I know the amount of meat is in a footlong, and how many condiments go on it. This was not even close! Every Subway I've been to is the same, that's the Subway I know and love. If I would have eaten it with a blind fold, I wouldn't have guessed it was Subway, exept for the wheat bread, and the way it was cut. I know that all the stores are separately owned franchises, but I don't think it's fair to make a skimpy sandwich with the name, "SUBWAY" on it. If it was my first time, I wouldn't go back again. I don't even know how to find out which owner this was, but I sure hope he's not running his actual store like this. If at all possible, please contact me if I need to get more details about this.
