Subway Sub Ruined By Product and Service

About a month ago I stopped by a local Subway restaurant after work to get a sub for dinner. I ordered a foot long BLT on italian herb and cheese bread with double meat. I asked for american cheese as well as lettuce, tomato, cucumber and olives.

Granted, I may not have been watching the employee making my sub as closely as I could because I was fielding an important call on my cellphone, but I noticed nothing wrong and paid for my meal.

I got my sandwich home and took a bite and all I could taste was cumcumber! I opened up the sub to look at its contents and the cucumbers were very THICK! I was terribly disappointed, but took a few more bites, again all I could taste was cucumber because of how thick they were.

I debated my next action and decided this should not be tolerated! I drove the 5 MILES BACK to Subway and showed the employee that originally waited on me the thickness of the cucumbers on the remaining half of my sandwich (I had a few more bites on the ride BACK to Subway) and requested another sandwich be made, only with THINNER cucumber slices.

At this point, after starting to make my new sub, I had to wait about 3 minutes for the employee to pick out cucumber slices that I considered to be thin enough to be edible. Shouldn't they ALL be thin?!? Once she picked them out there were not enough to cover the length of my new footlong, so the employee tried to spread them out thinly. NO WAY I thought. I politely asked for more cucumbers, but had to wait AGAIN for the employee to bring out more from the back and pick through them once again. They should be FULLY stocked at all time to meet customer demand.

Checking out again, I tried to use my Subway card to gain the points from this sandwich, but was told that since I was not being charged for this sub I could not gain any points.
