Thursday, August 2, 12:15 P.M. - Subway Restaurant (Broadway) near Bowling Green Station (across the street from the Bull). I ordered a turkey subway sandwich. I was asked, "You ordered a turkey sandwich?". Upon which I said, "Yes". The reply was from him with a smirk on his face, "You look like a turkey sandwich".. Plus the sandwich was not cut in half. As an African American woman I experience many prejudices in this so-called "Greatest City in the World. But I don't expect an attitude from a Hispanic nor anyone else. I didn't hear that same disrespect toward the White customers behind me. Certain races should learn about their true history. Stop deluding yourselves!!
