I bought a 7"portable DVD player Serial number 9G31A003012 manufactured on July 31. I bought his product from a vendor at Swaparama Flea Market and the product does not light up. I follow the instructions of charging the product for 8 hours and the battery light dies out seconds after it is light up. When I called the company about the warrantee on this product, they stated that they can not return, exchange or fix the product under the warrantee as this product was not purchased at Best Buy. It is clear that this product as been in the market less than 9 months and the manufacturers warrantee should secure the repair of this product or exchange of the same. Supervisor Josh Kisht stated that this product can only be secured if purchased at Best Buy. This does not protect consumers in Illinois and needs to be reported to your office. Please let me know what I can do. The business where I purchased this product is no longer in business.
