Defective Product - Portable DVD Player ripoff

I bought the product from Best Buy. I had minor problems with the product when I first bought it. Some of my burned DVD's did not work. I thought it was just the DVDs. I did not use the player for months. Less than 6 months after I bought the DVD player it does not work at on all DVDs most of the time. I contacted both Best Buy and Polaroid and the best I got was a Certificate to buy the same product at a reduced cost from retail. I could buy a new one for $94 I paid $129 for it. The prices have come down below that on other brands that are similar products. One reason I was willing to pay more for a similar product was the brand name "Polaroid". I guess that does not mean any thing anymore.
