I am a first-time shopper at Overstock.com, and recently purchased an Ipod Touch case about 6 weeks ago. I received the product a few days after ordering it, and wrote a very honest review about the product. My review contained both positive and negatives about the product itself, which I felt would help a consumer make an informed decision about which type of Ipod case to purchase. There were no other reviews about this product when I first purchased it so I felt it would be helpful to be the first to review.in addition, the case had no detailed description unlike most products.
The product is:

I came back to Overstock.com today and was browsing, and I decided to check to see if my review had been posted. Imagine my surprise when "Be the first to Write a review" was still highlighted, and my review was not posted. I am an avid online shopper, and many of the sites I have purchased from including Amazon.com post both positive and negative reviews about the product from consumers. Although some reviews may contain negative information, many shoppers such as myself rely on reviews to get a clear picture about the product. It is especially helpful when it comes to choosing the right product when there are multiple, similar products.
It seems to me that Overstock.com purposely omits reviews with negative information. Because of this, I am hesitant to trust any product or rating sold on Overstock.com and feel that certain reviews are being filtered. The Ipod Touch case is the first, last, and only product I will ever purchase from Overstock.com, and will relay my experience to others.
