June I purchased a Samsung V9800 DVD player with a built in VHS to go on my new television. Ifound this on eBay and it was advertised as a new item in an open box. Uponreceipt of the merchandise, the box was labeled as a salvage item and not resalable. I contacted eBay about the deceptive merchandise and the Customer Service Representativestated I would get a refund in a few days. I also conveyed my concerns aboutdisposing this equipment to prevent another sale of this item as a new dvd player. No refund was ever issued and this machine never did work to any satisfaction. Ionly watch a DVD on occasion and I am very disappointed in this machine since it didnot work more than 20 to 30 hours of play time. Today, I purchased a new DVD andinserted it in the machine and the dvd player will not read the new dvd, I hadto watch the dvd in my computer.
