This is a adjunct to my complaint about PayPal. I ordered Rosetta Stone Software which was described as Brand new and a picture of the official Rosetta Stone box was displayed. What I got was a blank or pirated DVD disc. It would not even open on my player. Paypal refused to refund my money, and Ebay closed the claim. I attempted to reopen the claim and they will not take it. I followed Paypals refund instructions to the letter, but the item was never shown as delivered by the Post Office. I did have tracking on the package. The address I was told to return it to was not the one Ebay had in their records for the seller, but I did use the address PayPal told me to return it to, which was an APO address. I could not use certified or registered mail to track it, because according to the PO the individual does not have to sign for APO mail. So I used a delivery confirmation label. The PO apparently lost the package, or it doesn't record when it is delivered to an APO address... So Ebay and Paypal say that's the same as if I never returned it. Anyhoo, I'm out 359.00. Needless to say, I will never do business with Ebay or Paypal again, but I am still out the money for an item I needed to increase my job qualifications. Crooks!
