Don't sign up for verizon "bundles"!!!
I signed up in July 14 for the "Verizon Triple Play Bundle" for $79.99 for Directv DSL Verizon Freedom Essentials 'a free netbook". I thought it was such a great deal to pass! Boy was i wrong! I month later i get my first bill i open it and i see $179.10 charge! I fliped! I called Verizon they claimed everything was "correct" and they charged for installation. Then the other bill came it was $150.00 i was like what? I called they said there were taxes, i also inquired about the ""free netbook"" they said there was no record or notes of the "free netbook " on file when i signed up! I asked the lady ""Genie"" and she said "ok, your set! The free netbook flyer will arrive in 30 days, then you go to hp.com and redeem it, "" well guess what? NO FREE NETBOOK, NO $79.99 PACKAGE! This is what they truely charge! $60.99 verizon home essientials, verizon dsl $19.99, directv charges $60.99 so the total a month is $141.97!!! The $60.99 charge for home phone is outragues!!! Thats half of the price of the bundle! I know am stuck on a 2 YEAR CONTRACT WITH VERIZON/DIRECTV!!! After the contracts run over i will switch to AT&T! Or i will pay the penalty's to cancel with in the next months!!! & the verizon bundle does not include an ""HD-RECIEVER!!!" THEY INCLUED THE DTV D12 RECIEVER! Beware buyers!!!
