No phone call - Sears/Kenmore bottom freeze

We have bought many, many items from Sears but lived in a small town in NY. Sales and service was excellent. But since moving to the Hanover, PA area, we have not had the same experience.

We bought a fridge just a year and a half ago - and while we were gone, the top refrigerator part stopped working. All the food was spoiled by the time we got home. I called Sears only to get an automated voice that I did work with to set up an appointment... For a week after I called. I took the morning off of work and sat... And sat. No one called. So after the appointment time I tried to call - and got "the voice" - then someone in far off shores. They wanted to set up another appointment - a week away! Needless to say, I'm angry... A day off work with no pay, no call and then to go without my refrigerator another week. I am going to start dealing with a local appliance store from now on. No more Sears brush offs!
