In July I signed a one year contract with spiderman pest control through a door to door representive. The first service, a $149.00 value would be free (alittle high) then the remaining four would cost $85.00. The first service they performed was on time and free as promised. The second service was performed on time in August and I paid the $85.00 dollars. Here is where the problem begins. Two weeks after having the service my house became over run by box elder bugs, so I made a call to spiderman and they agreed to come respray for free. No one ever showed to perform the treatment. I called spiderman numerous times and left my name and number with an explaination of my problem. I never recieved a response from them until October when they informed me by email they would be returning for another paid treatment which I immediately informed my bank not to pay because it was one month earlier than agreed too. I called spiderman and finally got to speak with a representive and told them to cancel my contract because they failed to honor the agreement. Two days later I recieved a bill for $249.00 for early termination which I have vowed not to pay. I sent Matt Flanders, the owner of spiderman an email expressing my dissatisfaction about their service and low and behold got no response, so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Now I get a call from Matt Flanders and he wants to come spray after the cold weather has killed off the box elderbugs, but I must continue his service for the remaining contract. I will be damned if I will have any further dealings with this individual or his company now or ever, having fought these damn bugs the whole summer. He still insists he plans to collect for early termination, but I HAVE OTHER PLANS FOR THEM.
