While shopping at the subject market, I noticed that they had a very good price on a product that I wanted to make a note of and then buy. The store manager approached me and informed me that it was against policy for me to write down the price in my notebook. I put the book away and proceeded to the checkout to purchase the item. The store manager followed me and my boyfriend who overheard us complain about the policy. He then informed us that we were no longer welcomed in the store, would not let us buy our purchases and threw us out. He shouted at both of us, became menacing to the point where we had to call the police. We were publicly humiliated and then felt threatened. I can't imagine any store encouraging this behavior in managers.
