This week I talked w/pharmacy Assoc ref my test strips for my ins changed & I needed One-touch. She said my dr faxed strips for older model meter which is not carried. I told her I am purchasing new meter and could I get the correct strips. She said that would not be a problem. I further asked if I could pick them up that day. She said yes. The strips were not for the model I purchased. I called my dr. My ins. Will not pay for correct ones b/c I took wrong ones home. Today, they told me to call 800 # on my strips & they would overnight me correct strips. It will be 3-4 days before I receive 50 instead of 100. I have one strip left b/c I am experiencing sugar lows. I cried! I offered to buy strips while I was there. I am really upset. I feel the pharmacy is at fault.
This is not like Wal-Mart.
