We contracted with US Loan Modifications to help us with modifying our loan to avoid forclosesure. We paid them $1,990.00 up front. We continually called them to find out the status of the modification.
They assured us they were in contact with the mortgage company and were working toward a resolution. They requested additional information from us, that they said they needed at the request of our mortage company, which we submited to them. Three months later we got a foreclosure letter from the mortgage company.
We immediately call US Mortgage Modifications and told them about the foreclosure notice. They requested that we send them a copy of the notice, which we did. They told us the mortgage companies tend to this as a scare tactic. We then called the mortgage who informed us that no one from any loan modification companies had contacted them.
We again contacted US Mortgage Modification and were either transfered from person to person or were told someone would get back to us and no one did. We left numerous messages with no one returing ours calls.in short, they took our money and did nothing for us.
We filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, who said the company failed to respond to their requests for information. We also filed a complaint with the US Attorney Generals Office. We requested a refund from the company and have heard nothing from them.
No telling how many innocent consumers have been ripped off as result of this company' s shady business dealings. I am still seeking avenues to get a refund of my monies.
They do have a web site, i just did not have it available at the time of this report. They can easily be found during a web search.
