I received a notice in the mail from Legal Loan Review stating that their office would represent me in obtaining a loan modification and a reduction in interest and principle for my mortgage. After providing the required documents to LLR I was told that the packet of information was sent to my mortgage company for processing. After several weeks I asked about the status and over the period of 5 months I was passed from one person to the next at which time I became very irrate. Then I found out that LLR is a scam. However since they did forward the documents to my mortgage company and I inquired with the mortgage company the loan modification is taking place, but LLR failed to maintain contact with the mortgage company once the initial paperwork was sent. I am now working directly with the mortgage company to finalize the loan modification.
