After two years Dell laptop Inspron1501 with Windows Vista lost screen contacts. I called service and they ask me to send laptop in Houston for repair with my credit card account open at 159$ initial charge. After fey days laptop was returned to me without hard drive and credit cad was charged 370$. Day after from Ohio came new hard drive witout software on it. Suport service ask me to give them credit card number to install software by phone help desk in India.initial charge is 49$ start, 39 $ instaletion drivers and 150$ Windows Vista.
If I continue to work with Dell service I could end up over 600$.
In the Best Buy new laptop is 340$.
How I can protect myself from those desperados?
Is it any way to get money back?
P.S. I did spend over 20 hours on phone calling Dell service support.
