Ripped me off - unauthorized debit - unethical practice - unbelievable deception

Better watch these guys. UNBELIEVABLE.

I subscribed for a year to watch the hockey season. Halfway through I upgraded my box to a HD box. No one informed me that I was adding two years to my contract! I am supposed to know this in advance by being a freak and read the fine print in their crappy terms of service.

The right thing to do is to be proud of your services and inform the customer as a courtesy. But why would they want to do that. That would be HONEST. They are not. They suck.

So, when I discontinued my service, I simply got nailed with a $420 fee, the equivalent of $20 p/month for up to the 2 years remaining on my new asshole contract extension.

They refused to work with me on it. They simply stole the money and ran. Of course they keep referring to the TOS they so proudly stand by.

From this I learned TWO things.

1- Directv sux and I will never use them again for as long as I live and I will never share positive information to anyone with regard to this company.

2. I will never give my credit card to any company again. I instead will purchase a gift card to use since this is really my only defense against thieves.

I have one thing to say to Directv... Go to hell.
