I had a horrible experience with DIRECTV and was appalled with their billing service. I was a customer for almost 10 years; when I ordered a DVR, in a concealed way, I was automatically enrolled in a 2 years contract which I could not get out. DIRECTV is desperate for cash and will do anything to get it. Before you sign anything with these crooks, read the small print. I was enrolled in a 2 years contract without my knowledge and was OVERCHARGED thought-out the contract period. When you complain they refuse to fix the problem. They also started charging us for premium channels (we did not order), it is disgusting that consumers are NEVER protected from these pathetic crooks. It will cost $380 to cancel the contract. Watch each you change or upgrade service if they do not sign you to a renewed two year contract without your knowledge; you will not get out of it easily without paying $380. For over a year now I am been harassed by collection agencies; as a matter of principle, I will not let these jerks take my money.
