Carl Haggerty, who list his employment as, Williamson Picket Gross in NY, and his associate, Robert Angona have perpetrated nothing more complicated than Fraud. These two (con-men) list their company as MJG Merchant Capital Group, Madison Ave, NY. No one ever answers their phone 212-557-9760, its just their window dressing as this (capital) group, has no capital.
Haggerty and Angona offered us letter of intent to fund a new venture on Nov 19, another on Dec 1 and yet another (letter of commitment) on Jan 14. They are all drawn by them, and signed by them. They Breached them ALL. The have continually lied and deceived us from the very beginning. They have never had the funds to fulfill any of these agreements. They are blatent liars and now thieves.
They were given a $5000.00 check on December 3 as deposit toward closing this venture. It was made as directed by Haggerty and Angona, to MJG by the way, and clearly noted for Glamour Casting, in the notes.
They have never closed this venture, and they continue to refuse to return the deposit. They have been asked multiple times, but apparently they choose to STEAL it.
Most recent response from Haggerty, and this is his favorite "Hang in there". That's right, after all this time holding an owner and a company hostage and not returning closing deposits you did NOT earn, that's his voicemail. They also had some admin assistant send a ridiculous letter to me were they actually attempt to "deny" they received the deposit. And, that the deposit was made out to a "corporate entity". These are dishonest people with a capital D... Stay away from them, and spread the word. We have contacted WPG, where Haggarty works and sends and receives his email. We have made top level management aware of this fraud and theft by deception. We will keep posted IF they condon this type of behavior.
Lastly, I got a letter from them "making us aware", than making negative comments about them online could cause a "defamation suit". We can substantiate ALL... And they know it, yet, they continue to hold funds not earned, and gained by deception... That is THEFT.
