I ordered Dancing With the Stars Tickets online through TicketMaster. These tickets were a surprise Christmas gift for my ailing mother.
When the tickets came, they were in the name of some guy and had a price printed on them of $65.00. My credit card was billed $424.90!
Along with these tickets came a piece of paper telling me "These are the newest form of tickets" "These are legitimate and valid" "These are my actual tickets"
Of course I freaked out. I called Ticketmaster to ask them what the hell was going on. They said oh well suck it up. I must have gone on TicketsNow to order tickets. I advised them I did NOT. Who is TicketsNow? I was told it is their affiliation. I have to call them.
At one point, talking to a supervisor at Ticketmaster, he told me he couldn't talk to me anymore he was busy and had other people to talk to.
After several calls to both Ticketmaster and TicketsNow we told them they this was wrong and they were scalpers ripping off people. They said No they are not. This is legal!
Obviously I could not give the actual tickets to my mother for Christmas and explain everything I have been through and what a rip off this was!
We went to the show and never saw any of it! We never even made it to our seats! My mother spent the night in the bathroom at the Air Canada Centre being sick. I actually thought she was having a heart attack! We got a wheel chair and took her out to the car and brought her home without ever getting to our seats.
So basically I was ripped off! Violated and torturred!!! And to think I paid a fortune for all of this. To this day I am still sick over this! And I really do mean sick. The stress of all of this is too much. I still have not paid off this charge on my credit card.
My mother doesn't know about this because I think she would be broken hearted. I know she felt absolutely terrible about that night as it was. I can't imagine how she would feel if she knew the truth of it all.
I still have the tickets, credit card statement and letter from TicketsNow.
