I too was ripped off by Ticketmaster when trying to purchase tickets for Bruce Springsteen in Chicago. I was constantly bumped off my ticket sales attempt made online upon verification and redirected to ticketsnow.com at inflated prices. I attempted several choices given by Ticketmaster themselves again and again, only to be denied any ticket purchase at all. They then indicated that there was a security code verification problem, and I was told to contact my credit card company. I did, only to find out that there were never any attempted sales made by Ticketmaster at all. My credit card was fine, and I had more than enough money to cover any purchase attempt to the amount given by me.
I finally tried to purchase tickets by phone after the runaround on the internet. The only available seating by then was behind the stage. The price on these tickets indicated $65.00. Finally giving in to all this, I bought the tickets, only to find out again that I was cheated by Ticketmaster, who charged me $95.00 for a $65.00 ticket price plus service charges, etc. Where's the justice? You tell me! I know I wasn't alone!
I'm done with Ticketmaster, and you should be too! I am out $428.68, thanks to Ticketmaster, or should I say ticketsnow.com.
