On October 16 I had taken my 2003 Saturn Ion with 60.000 miles in for a Estimate for front end rattle. I was a bit unnerving not really knowing if my wheeler where going to fall off. Weekend before a dear friend took the car for a ride around the block and said that it was not a big deal it was my sway bar and bushings. So i book a appointment with Saturn of Harlem. For October 16 for 7:30 am. My car is logged by Lenee Tarver. She said that she would follow up with me that afternoon. 5:55pm I get a call from Ms. Tarver letting me know that they where back up and would it be ok if lieve another day. I told her sure not issue here. Now mind you had not gotten a call from them all day and started making calls to the service dept. But went in to voice mail hell. I asked to speak to the dealer manager. Still no answer. I finally talk to Ms. Traver. She ask me if i could leave the car another day. On day three Ms. Traver leave me a voice mail at 10:30am asking if i could give her a call back. Call back to ask what is the story was with my car. She said the estimate is $1,600.00. As for work? All it needs is sway bars and bushings! She went on to tell me that I need. I told her to take my off the lift and i would be by in 2 hours to pick up. They charge me $119.00 for looking at the car.

I was never so mad! I called a Saturn dealer in xxxxxxxxx and they said that if i get there in time they would be able to check the car. They did. There estimate was $313.00 plus tax. I was beside myself. The following day I called the manager of the service department and asked me if i could come back with he car so he could look at it. I told him I would. The following Monday i return to the Saturn of Harlem. He puts my car on the lift. And with a flash light. He point out my shock that had a small bit of oil around it. The left side was clean. I ask him how he could tell if I need strut mounts. His answer, I cannot tell without taken the strut apart. He agreed that i was never looked at and the he would refund my $119.00 for checking the car out. Never said he was sorry for trying to rip me off. I had to drive 40 miles to a Saturn of xxxxxxxxx dealer fix my car. The total cost 323.00. Never did get my credit for $119.00.
