IN June I received a phone call asking me to accept a disney ordiment and a free ordiment as a free gift. I was told I did not have to keep them and could cancell at anytime. Well I decided I would keep the two ordiments but didn't want the whole set. SO I paid for the first disney ordiment and cancelled.
In November I received a whole box of these things. I tried to email the company but got no reply back. I did not return the box and so they started taking money out of my credit card.in December I received a statement demanding an installment.
This one says its for the christmas magic and is priced at $227.00. Im not sure whether this is for the disney ordiments are whether it is for something else. The company won't respond to my emails and there seems to be no phone number.
Im not sure whether scholastic is the same company as grolier or not. This isn't the first time that golier has done this to me they sent me a pile of book back in 2001 and demanded full payment of about $200 which I paid in full.
What I want to know is how do I get this company off my back. I have a barring system on my phone now so that no computerised call center can get through to me and so I shouldn't ever received any more of them calls but Im worried incase they just start sending me boxes of books and expect me to pay for them as they have done in the past.
