I purchased a tanning sunless booth this past year, the first week in March, to supplement extra income during tanning season. I was told I would receive my booth within a week then 2 then 3 and then well you get the picture. I finally received an email informing me that the sunless system would arrive can you guess 2 months later, but they had to have the money the machine immediately.
So the arrival date is here and no booth?! I contact the shipping company only to find out that VO Remarking gave them the wrong address, phone number, etc and I cannot change the information myself, VO has to do it. Now mind you the arrival time was scheduled for 8PM in the evening. Another day goes by and I contact Mike my sales rep at VO Remarketing. He gets the correct info to the shipping company and the bed arrives in another day.
Now I'm waiting for their Certified CalTan tech to arrive to set up my machine. Did I say their Certified CalTan tech? Oh well that's not the case. They subcontract average Joe Schmoe's to hook these beds up. The supposed tech arrives 2 weeks later to hook the booth up only to find out that it's missing parts. He half hooks the unit up and tells me he can't do anything else with it without the missing parts and oh the sunless solution they did not tell me to order before he arrives being that I'm under the impression everything arrives together.
I almost forgot! The base to the booth was damaged as well. $1700 to replace this base. I'm told by the tech that this was damaged during shipping.
I contact Mike to tell him all the problems and he asks for the pictures of the base. I'm also to contact CalTan for the missing parts. I do so immediately. Mike has the pics and this is the one time they actually pay for something! They ordered the parts, but I still have a $1700 damaged base! I paid over 13K for this machine and middle of summer it is not up and running.
The parts arrive, but now the tech has left and it's my responsibility to hook up the machine. I have CalTan try to walk me through set up, but once again there are parts missing. I contact Mike NUMEROUS times by email and phone with no response. This guy has so many excuses and he's on vacation every other week! Their tech did not even hook the machine up correctly and now a REAL CERTIFIED CALTAN TECH has to fly out to hook it up at my 1K expense. Mike tells me my machine is out of warranty and VO will not cover this. It's out of warranty because I've waited on your company for 4 months now to hook up my booth.
To sum it all up it's September and only a month ago did I get my booth operating. The REAL CalTan tech that hooked machine up informed me the base was damaged during the previous set up by their contractor and I still have the damaged base. After I was told the bed is out of warranty Mike wants nothing to do with me. They have their money. So basically I spent 15K and have a machine that's damaged and by the time I finally got the booth operating tanning season was over!
I do not recommend doing business with vo remarketing unless you like countless headaches and getting ripped off!!!
