I purchased a 5 year warranty from sears to protect a stove that i bought. I recently placed a service call to replace the 2 front handles. After placing the service call but while still on the phone, i asked if the service person would have the parts to fix it. I was told he wouldn't so we cancelled the service call and placed a parts order. A week or 2 later i received a box containing the parts so i called sears back and placed a service call, a tech was scheduled in 4 days. After hanging up i thought i should check the box to be certain the parts were correct so i didn't waste the time of myself and the tech. Only half of the needed parts were in the box. So i had to call back again to cancel the service call and place a parts call. Now i'm back to waiting for parts and in 7-10 days when the parts arrive i will need to call again to schedule a service call. The frustrating part is that i paid full price for a $300 warranty and feel like i am receiving discount quality service.
