If not for some other alert, I would have never figured out what happened. I tried making a local call at the airport for 55 seconds. I was charged $30. Due to a previous report on this company, I was able to get their number. I called and was told that the $30 was a holding fee and it would be credited back in about 2 more days. When asked how much the call was I was told over $6. After complaing about that it was reduced to about half that amount, which is still absurd. There was no clear message on the phone indicating that it would be more than the custoary. 50 a minute. At the very least a deceptive practice. To be fair to the company, their total charge might be as "little" as $2.62 whcih is still alot for less than one minute. If not for my call it would have been over $6 and why collect interest on $30 for a few days?
