Network Communications Pay Phones 20 DOLLARS FOR A PHONE CALL?!

Earlier today I was at the WalMart in Shelton Washington and my cell phone battery was totally dead. I needed to call my husband and ask him if we needed anything at home, so I went to the pay phone. Since I dont usually carry cash, I didnt have the 50 cents the pay phone stated was required to make a 2 minute phone call. When I tried to call collect, the screen on th ephone asked me if I would like to slide a debit or credit card. Thinking how much more convenient that would be than calling collect, I slid my debit card and was prompted to enter the expiration date. When I did, my call was completed as usual.

I was one the phone for maybe 60 seconds, at the most. Then when I got home and checked my online bank statement, I found I was charged $20.00!!! $20 bucks for a 1 minute phone call? That is outrageous! And I don't understand how they can possibly charge that, when the phone clearly states in plain english that it charges. 50 for 2 minutes.

I instantly got online to try and find the company's website, and was bombarded with other customer complaints and consumer complaintss reporting similar charges, I've even seen claims where the customer was charged multiple times for the same phone call. Now what do I do??
